Following request by the residents of Overtown, The Parish Council have provided stone planters and hanging baskets to add colour to the area. There are also, new sign posts ""Welcome to Overtown""being supplied by Burnley Borough Council, which will be erected in the near future. HERITAGE WEEKEND

Commencing Friday, September 10th. 2010, The Church of St. John the Divine will be holding a Heritage Weekend. This will include the Church being open to the public and a display of local history dating back to when the Church was first Consecrated. Additions to this item will be posted when full details are know, but in the meantime, book these dates in your diary
